Phewww… dan di minggu pertama American Idol 8 ini, temanya adalah lagu2 dari Michael Jackson! wow... gw excitet bgt ma episode ini, yah jacko adalah one of legend singer bwat gw, lagu2nya sangat luar biasa and so memorable, mulai dr tk,sd,smp.sma ampe kuliah gw tumbuh ama lagu2 jacko, selain jacko bwat gw yg legend dan ever after adalah stevie wonder,aretha franklin,shierley BC, dan emg paling spesial jacko sih meski kelakuan ama tampangnya rada aneh tapi eitsss di penyanyi ngga ada duanya, just soulfull nothing else. Mestinya kita sudah pasti kenal dengan Single2 Hitsnya, apalagi albumnya yg terjual lebih dari ratusan juta keping, tapi sayangnya beberapa finalis memilih lagu yang under the radar alias kurang begitu ngetop. Dan besok malam adalah Result Show yg menampilkan Kelly Clarkson dan Kanye West, ditambah 2 org yang langsung akan ter eliminasi! So, simak penampilan mereka malam ini:
1. Lil Rounds - The Way You Make Me Feel
RJ: This is the way we kick off season 8. You just put a whole new spin on that. You made the song new again. You got it.
KD: Wow. I hope we get to hear you on the radio. The end note was sick.
PA: Glam squad, way to go. You are the force to be reckoned with.
SC: I thought it was good, thoughts it was a bit of a lazy song choice. I hate what your wearing.
gw: Tampil pertama pastinya bakal gugup dong, tapi gak buat Lil’ Rounds, walau sedikit rada ‘safe’ tapi Lil’ Rounds bikin ‘standard’ yang bagus! love her perform (7/10)
2. Scott MacIntyre - Keep The Faith
KD: I am so glad we get to see you with the piano. That wasn’t an obvious MJ song. You can deliver the message. You are true to yourself every week.
PA: It’s magical seeing you instrument at your fingertips.
SC: I hated the song. Nobody knows it. I like you and you are a good singer, I just didn’t like the song.
RJ: Like the song, the performance was good but felt safe.
gw: Sayang pilihan lagunya kurang begitu ngetop dan gak banyak org tahu walau ‘pesan’ didalamnya emang bagus! Tampil dengan piano bikin Scott makin pede, walau sebenarnya kurang memuaskan. (7/10)
3. Danny Gokey - Pretty Young Thing
PA: I know exactly who you are when my eyes are closed. I think you are on your way to the final.
SC: I thought the vocals were brilliant. You remind me of Michael McDonald. The dancing was hideous but I really really like you tonight.
RJ: When you got, you got it. I loved it all, the dancing and the singing.
KD: You have joy when you step on the stage.
gw: Wow! Ini dia performance yg keren secara Vocal, walau dancenya emang sedikit kaku… hehe.. Bravo! (8/10)
4. Michael Sarver - You Are Not Alone
SC: Your not the best singer in the competition. You made up for it with passion and heart. you gave it 110%.
RJ: You have returned to the R&B. You are born to do what you do.
KD: Tonight showed me you really can sing. You can hit those notes. You did a great job.
PA: Your likable. You picked a perfect song. You sounded lovely tonight.
gw: Tampil setelah Danny gak bikin Michael nge-drop, dia tampil habis2an, keliatan banget kalo ‘ngotot’ mungkin ngga mau ke tampar ama performnya danny yg udh megang duluan kali ya, meski awal2 gw ngga terlalu suka ma ni kontestan but after watch her perform gw mulai suka.
Gak jelek sih. (7/10)
5. Jasmine Murray - I’ll Be There
RJ: You did a pretty good job on it. It wasn’t that bad.
KD: You hit some of those notes. I think it should have been a half a key done.
PA: You have tremendous composure. You had some bright moments. You were under at times. Way to go.
SC: You made a good attempt. Little bit robotic at times. Lighten up a little bit.
gw: Mana nih Jasmine yg R&B, sayang banget Jasmine kurang bisa maksimal di lagu ini, masih tertutup oleh bayang2 Mariah Carey yg bawain lagu sekeren ini! (6/10)
6. Kris Allen - Remember the Time
KD: The girls love you. I am happy to see you with your guitar. It helps you performance wise. There were a few notes that were off.
PA: No one knows MJ’s catalog better than you. Your engaging, adorable and sexy.
SC: It was interesting. The performance was a bit clumsy, the vocal was ok.
RJ: I love the guitar. It was kind cool in a way for me. Job well done.
gw: Keren juga bawain single ini dengan gitar, seperti kata RJ, style Kris kayak Jason Mraz! btw tampang ni cowok cakep ya seks appeal nya maknyuss gw sangat terbawa hihihi (7/10)
7. Allison Iraheta - Give In To Me
PA: It just is mind boggling. You are a rock star up there. Keep doing what you’re doing.
SC: It was a good performance. We know who you are. You have to lighten up a bit. Very good.
RJ: You got it and you were born with it. You can sing anything. You are one to watch in this whole thing.
KD: Keep being the rocker girl. Great job.
gw: Boring! Lady Rocker ini kayaknya gak bertahan lama deh… pas bawain alone kmrn sebenarnya range vokalnya kurang worth sih tapi emg pas barengannya dia jelek2 aja jd dia keliatan bagus(6/10)
8. Anoop Desai - Beat It
PA: This song is untouchable and it belongs to the artist. A Bit Karaoke.
SC: It was horrible. It looked a bit stupid.
RJ: It was the wrong choice. It was very karaoke. It didn’t work for me.
KD: I agree with them. You didn’t do any variations. I felt disconnected.
gw: Ugh, sayang banget yah… Anoop emang punya personaliti yg bagus, Vocal jg oke tapi kenapa penampilannya gak maksimal gini yah? btw makin diliat makin mirip amithabachan ya apa cm feeling gw ajah(6/10)
9. Jorge Nuñez - Never Can Say Goodbye
RJ: This wouldn’t have been the song I would have picked for you. A couple of pitch points at the start.
KD: I didn’t feel emotionally connected.
PA: I don’t feel you were yourself. Not the right song for you.
SC: It was corny and the arrangement was awful.
gw: Penampilan terjelek malam ini… ouch, kayaknya Jorge bakal pulang deh! (5/10)
10. Megan Corkrey - Rockin Robin
KD: You injected your personality into it.
PA: I love the quirky and unique tone to your voice. I felt disconnected.
SC: What a stupid song choice. It was clumsy and awkward.
RJ: The song choice didn’t allow you to be Megan.
gw: makin cantik aja, Sayang nih tampil terlalu santai, walau sebenarnya Megan punya potensi Vocal yg luar biasa. Lagi2 tampil dengan dansa yg lucu hehe (6/10)

PA: Wow, take it all in. We have never seen someone so comfortable and seasoned on stage. You know who you are as an artist. You have the whole package.
SC: That was in a totally different league from everything we have seen. The vocals were terrific.
RJ: The most current. You could make a record right now and sail to the top of the chart. You got it.
KD: You hit notes that I didn’t know existed.

Disini ke-4 juri berhak menyelamatkan salah satu kontestan yg teriliminasi sebelum babak 5 besar, tapi dengan syarat apabila kontestan tsb selamat, tapi minggu depan harus ada 2 org yg pulang! So, siapa yah kira2 orang yg mendapatkan “The Judge’s Save” ini?
Back To The Show…
Setelah Ryan menjelaskan yang tadi, kini giliran para kontestan yg tampil dengan ngebawain Medley lagu2 Michael Jackson, tapi sebelumnya diputer Video ke-13 kontestan yg kali ini mereka tinggal di sebuah Mansion yg gede.. lengkap dengan kolam renang, bowling, dll… gokil!
Dan seperti biasa, sebenarnya ada iklan Ford yg tidak pernah ditayangkan di Starworld (namanya juga iklan, hehe..) dengan lagu “We Will Rock You” yg kalo pengen liat di youtube aja!
So, pengumumannya… pertama dipanggil.. Michael Sarver, aman! Allison, aman! Jasmine… hmmm dipanggil di tengah panggung! Next, Matt Giraud, aman! Kris Allen, aman! dan.. terakhir Megan join dengan Jasmine di tengah panggung… yang akhirnya dibacain kalo Jasmine yg tereliminasi dan nyanyi lagi. Setelah itu, Ryan menanyakan ke para juri dan diwakili Randy kalo mereka gak bakal menyelamatkan Jasmine! Oww… poor Jasmine.. udah dikasih kesempatan 2x tapi she blew her chance! Bye bye Jasmine!
Next.. Kanye West tampil dengan “Heartless”!!!
Pengumuan dilanjutkan lagi… Scott, aman! Alexis, aman! Danny, aman! Anoop… dipanggil ke tengah panggung! Adam Lambert.. aman! dan Jorge gabung dgn Anoop ditengah panggung, sementara Lil Round aman!

5. Jasmine : 6 (sayang bgt,, padahal suarnya jelas g jelek, napa dia slalu pilih lagu yg bikin suaranya terdengar "biasa",, sayang,,)

8. Anoop : 5.5 (sayang, pdhl gw suka ni org, tp kemaren nyanyi kaya karaoke bgt..!!!)

horge = hmm,, y dibanding anoop ato megan mending dia aja ah yg pulang hehehe,, benernya g jelek,, tp dia tu forgetable kl nyanyi malah dia lebih bisa diingat kl waktu ditanya ato apa,, tp waktu nyanyi so forgetable,,
