Britney Spear's Manager, Larry Rudolph tells us exclusively that the former and (hopeful) once-again Princess of Pop is NOT performing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

She is 100% not performing, Larry assured us, but she will be attending and opening the show.

Rudolph has repeatedly stated recently that Spears was NOT performing, a statement echoed closely by the reps at MTV.

So, what to make of that footage that leaked on Friday that showed Britney rehearsing to a new song of her with some dancers???

"She was not rehearsing for the VMAs," Rudolph tells us. "It was just her going into the studio with some dancer friends and having fun. It's a regular occurrence now. I see that every day."

But we don't! And we got VERY excited.

Well, we think it's wise that Spears wait until she's 110% ready to perform and make a killer comeback.

sekarang dunia lagi bingung britney bkal perform atau kagak. karena, 2 hari yang lalu ga salah, si larry bilang kl britney GA BAKAL KE VMA SAMA SEKALI, eh besoknya diberitain britney dateng. bahkan disorot pula kursi dia di vma (fyi, di duduk deket ashlee simpson, sampingnya zac efron). terus di mtv.de , britney disebutin menjadi salah satu performer di vma08.
jadii, kesimpulannya.... beberapa hari ini, terlalu byak spekulasi apakah britney akan nyanyi apa kagak di vma. mtv beritanya ngaco, manager britney (larry) juga ngaco, breatheheavy juga ngaco, semua ngaco. daripada penasaran, tonton aja besok jam8 malem di mtv asia (indovision no 62, star no 25 klo ga salah). heheh
