Mariah has allegedly written this song in response to Eminem's song "Superman". The two was rumored to have a short-term affair. Yet, the "relationship" ended badly. In 2002, Eminem then released "Superman" which talks badly about Mariah. You can read the lyrics here.
Mariah responded in this song referring Eminem as a "Clown" rather than a Superman. I'll be listing down snippets from the song and relating them to Eminem.
