Baca dilain gay forum mengenai gay sauna namanya Lianbang di Shanghai, menurut dia jorok sekali dan tidak menyarankan utk mengunjungi sauna tsb.

My take on the scene:

- Eddys/Shanghai Studio: usually done in a pair because walking distance between two places. Great for first time English-speaking visitors. Eddys is a good friendly place to go during the week as well but turns into a more crowded/happening place along with Studio over Fri/Sat.

- Frangipani: - Dead. Totally dead most days of the year unless last Thurs of every month. Sad thing because good location and nice owners.

- BoBo's Bar: - Panda bear bar in the middle of a condo clubhouse. Very friendly and lots of sexy G-men.

- D2: Go to this club if you miss Taboo/La Queen. Lots of trashy muscle boys in a very nice space by the Bund.

- Lianbang: Chinese saunas are NOT LIKE saunas in SE Asia/HK/Japan. They are filthy, gross, unhygenic and disgusting. Please prepare yourself for smelly unwashed locals who shit on the floor and dry their pubic hair with the common hairdryer. No private rooms and no lube/condoms. You have been warned.
