Crimson Peak (Guillermo del Toro, 2015, USA)
Getting into the spirit of the season, i watched Crimson Peak last night. A film that was utterly useless for an hour, then kind of interesting for 20 minutes and then pretty good for the last 20 minutes. I guess they were banking on the old "end with a strong finish and the audience will forgive the rest" routine.

Ah... Jessica Chastain totally took me by surprise - forgot she was in the movie - until afterward when the credits rolled....

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (Gregory Plotkin, 3015, USA)
My continuing search for good scary stuff for the season last weekend. I know some of the old school PA fans poo-poohed it, but whatever! No, it's not as good as the original, but it's good creepy fun and i quite enjoyed watching it.

The Little Prince (Mark Osborne, 2015, USA)
It's definitely not bad--everything about it absolutely fine and good, especially the cuteness--but dear lord the plot it is filmed. I am a big fans of Antoine de St-Exupery's works, and this film is NOT The Little Prince. It just killed any strong feelings I could possibly have towards the whole thing. Pretty sure I'll forget about most of it in a few days. 2/5
