kemarin beredar berita film ini akan tayang di HK tgl 29 Maret 2012 setelah lolos sensor dengan 11 potongan.....
film ini juga memecahkan rekor diedit 9 kali baru berhasil lolos sensor...
bad newsnya adalah 'suck' (oral scene) yg dilakukan beneran oleh pemeran di film ini termasuk bagian yg disensor, kemudian juga frontal nudity dan sex scene....
good newsnya, hak distribusi film ini ada di tangan TLA Releasing (USA), distributor film2 bertema LGBT, dan kabarnya DVD yg beredar nantinya adalah versi 'uncut'.....
Wah, harus nunggu lebih lama nih untuk nonton versi uncut nya.
As summer fades from a small French town, young adolescent Sebastien struggles with his own sexual identity and with internalized, often contradictory erotic feelings, in director Franck Guerin's understated coming-of-ager A Summer Day. Sebastien spends the majority of his time assisting his single father in the latter's garage, but warms even more to palling around with male friend Mickael, a boy he quietly finds sensual and erotic. When a bizarre accident involving a soccer goal post kills Mickael, the event not only plunges the town into a state of perpetual horror, but leaves Sebastien doubly conflicted and confused about his feelings for the boy. He finds a partial salvation in a friendship with Mickael's mother; to the same degree that Sebastien seeks her out, filially, as a maternal surrogate, she looks to him as a much-needed substitute for the son she lost. Meanwhile, Sebastien's burgeoning awareness of his own homosexuality grows more concrete, but an open admission and embrace of this identity seem utterly impossible given the gross hypocrisies and backward sexual repression that plague the community.

Eleven episodes portray different encounters in a large city during the course of a single night towards the end of the millennium. A young man wants to stop living together with a young woman because he believes that they no longer have anything to say to each other. The young woman goes to visit her mother, an elderly woman. She lives with an old lesbian who meets her homeless brother. She asks him to forgive her for having seduced his wife all those years ago, but the brother pretends not to know who she is. A young boy attacks the homeless man. At first he tells him about his wild nights, then he knocks him to the ground and steals the old man's ring. At home the young boy has a bath and asks his father to join him in the tub. The boy's father has a girlfriend, a young woman. He intends to end their relationship... Eleven interlocking scenes that involve two characters, one of whom carries forward into the next scene, until the chain comes full circle.

Avril is a novice in a convent of "Baptistine" sisters, a monastic order which was officially dissolved by the end of the nineteenth century but that is kept alive by Mère Marie Joseph, the sadistic superior.
