Alan Turing - Seorang Gay Jenius yang Tragis

Mungkin kita semua enggak menyangka komputer modern seperti ini adalah pioner dari seorang gay.
Itulah persepsi gue sewaktu menonton acara sains di salah satu tv anak- anak (Berhubung gue eneq liat acara di channel lain, apalagi ada cahnnel TV yang isinya sinetron melulu yang kita semua sudah tahu kualitasnya dan komedi yang menurut gue enggak jayus dan garing banget) Sorry buat penggemar sinetron, setiap orang khan punya selera masing- masing.
Kembali ke acara tentang sains tersebut, walaupun mengalami gangguan dan kualitas gambar 'relatif' kurang tapi satu kata yang membuat gue terfokus adalah "Alan Turing"
Ternyata sesuatu yang hampir menguasai dunia saat ini- komputer- bisa ada karena Alan Turing.
Karna menurut yang gue liat dari TV itu dan searching di google. Alan Turing adalah penemu "computer science", hingga menurut sumber yang gue baca dia adalah "The Father of Modern Computer" dan selain itu dia juga mathematician, philosopher, codebreaker, strange visionary. Tapi yang mengejutkan ternyata seorang homoseksual.
Berarti bertambah list ilmuwan yang gay (Selama ini menurut yang gue baca, Newton juga adalah seorang gay).

Dari segi penampilan (Perawakannya), menurut gue orang yang rapi, ganteng dan enggak seperti ilmuwan muktahir lainnya, misalnay Albert Einstein.

Namun kematiannya tragis karena (walaupun pihak keluarga menolak bahwa Alan bunuh diri) tapi sampai saat ini sianida (ingat alm. Munir?) dalam buah apel dianggap yang telah merenggut nyawanya dan hal ini dihubungkan dengan obsesinya terhadap cerita snow white. Selain itu juga ada yang mengaitkan kehomoseksualannya.
(Karena zaman itu pasti bakal jauh lebih tertekan menjadi seorang homoseksual dibanding saat ini, ingat film "a love to hide" and "a very british scandal")
But overall, gue dapat mengutip sesuatu bahwa, hal ini berarti orientasi seksual bukanlah pembatas kamu untuk menjadi orang yang kreatif.

He died not long after from what was officially declared self-induced cyanide poisoning, although his mother (and some others) considered the circumstances of his death to be ambiguous."

Rushed, aku suka gaya dan cara berpikir kamu. benar- benar beda sama cara pikir gay yang pada umumnya ngayal ketinggian, sibuk ngebicarain aktor atau model gay sambil ngayal yang enggak- enggak.

Post kamu so inspiring me. Semoga kaum gay bisa seperti Alan Turing, jadi sesuatu yang penting. bukannya kebanyakan menjadi sampah masyarakat.
